What this policy covers
This policy explains what UK Junction stores on your device, what it reads from your device, and which other services your browser contacts when you use ukjunction.com. Websites you visit by following our links have their own policies.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits, so we can see which pages are used and improve the site. It does not set cookies or save anything on your device. To tell visits apart on the same day, Vercel creates a code from your connection and browser details and discards it after 24 hours. We only see totals, such as page views, the website that referred you, and country, browser and device type. We do not use it to follow individuals and we do not combine it with any other information.
We remove search terms and anything else after the question mark in a web address before it is counted, and we do not count our staff administration pages.
Analytics is on unless you switch it off. We rely on the exception in UK law for statistical analysis used to improve a website, and on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. You can switch it off at any time on the Cookie preferences page. It stops straight away and stays off on that browser.
Optional features you can switch on
These are off until you choose them on the Cookie preferences page, or in the case of maps by choosing Show map on a listing page. You can switch them off again at any time.

Partner offers and links to other websites
Partner offers are paid advertising and are labelled Ad. When you click one, your browser goes first to our server, which adds one to a count of clicks for that offer, then to the Awin affiliate network, and then to the retailer. We do not set a cookie to do this and we do not record who clicked.
Awin and the retailer may set their own cookies on their own websites, for example so the retailer can pay us a commission if you buy. We do not control those cookies, and their own policies apply. The same is true when you follow a job advert to the employer, Adzuna or GOV.UK Find an apprenticeship, sign in with Google, or pay through Stripe.
Images and fonts
Our pages load their fonts and images from our own website. Product pictures from our partner retailers are passed through our servers, and photos you upload are served from images.ukjunction.com, so your browser does not contact those retailers to show them.
Managing your choices
You can switch analytics, preferences and maps on or off at any time on the Cookie preferences page, which is linked in the footer of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, but if you block the cookies that are always on, you will not be able to sign in.
