About the role
This is an exciting opportunity within our York Delivery Centre. The right candidate will be joining alongside a number of other analysts at the same level and given the opportunity to work across a number of areas.
Training
This programme combines live workshops, self-paced learning, and on-the-job application.
Learners are supported by a dedicated Digital Learning Consultant (DLC) and follow QA’s “Discover, Practise, Apply” methodology.
Apprenticeship standard: Data engineer (level 5)

After your apprenticeship
Working hours
9.00am - 5.00pm, Monday to Thursday (office based), Friday will be working from home.
37.5 hours a week
Duration: 1 Year 9 Months
Possible start date: 21 October 2026

*'Similar subject' relates to areas directly relevant to or commensurate with 'Digital and Technology Solutions'. Typically this would be areas such as but not limited to Level 3 digital apprenticeships, A-Level/BTEC Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Software Engineering, etc.
Please note: Learners must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
