About the role
Join our Team as a Groundworker Apprentice and gain hands on experience in drainage, foundations, concreting, Kerbing and site preparation. We offer on the job training, progression and opportunities to gain Plant tickets and qualifications to operate machinery as your skills develop.
Your week will involve working alongside our experienced team on live construction sites learning all aspects of groundwork’s. A typical day will start by taking part in morning briefing to go through the days work and safety requirements.
You will prepare tools, equipment and materials before getting involved in the days tasks. Throughout the day you’ll work alongside experienced Groundworkers learning the safe and correct way to carry out each job. At the end of the day you will help clean down tools, tidy the work area and make sure the site is left safe and secure. Means of Transport essential as job sites are at varied locations.

Things to consider
You will require a valid driving licence and able to travel between locations as required. The job entails working outside all year round and will need to be relatively fit as heavy lifting involved. You will be required to apply to The College and attend an academic interview.
