About the role
Apprentice Chef position available at the Open Ditch, Sinton green. An opportunity to produce, tasty good quality food in a fun, supportive, environment with scope to use your individual flair.
- Food preparation
- Batch cooking
- Stock control, proper storage and rotation
- Complete all necessary daily / weekly checks and documentation
- Oversee pot wash / kitchen porter
Training
Apprenticeship standard: Commis chef (level 2)
Training provider: HEART OF WORCESTERSHIRE COLLEGE
After your apprenticeship
- Opportunity to develop dishes to add to the menu
- Opportunity to adapt dishes currently on the menu
- Catering for any events at The Open Ditch
Working hours
Wednesday 5.00pm - 9.00pm
Thursday - Saturday 11.00am - 9.00pm
Sunday 10.00am - 5.00pm
45 hours a week
Duration: 1 Year 6 Months
Possible start date: 9 November 2026
