Prohibited and Restricted Items

Sellers may only list new goods that are legal to sell in the UK. The following must not be listed on UK Junction. Listings that break this policy are removed, and repeated breaches lead to account suspension.

Not allowed

• Used, refurbished or second-hand goods.
• Alcohol.
• Knives, blades and bladed articles, and any weapon, ammunition, firearm part or replica.
• Medicines (including pharmacy and prescription medicines), and products making medical claims they are not authorised to make.
• Tobacco, vapes, e-liquids and nicotine products.
• Any other age-restricted product, including fireworks, solvents and products restricted to adults.
• Higher risk foods, including raw or chilled meat, fish and dairy, and anything needing refrigeration or freezing.
• Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia and psychoactive substances.
• Counterfeit, replica or unauthorised branded goods, and anything that infringes intellectual property.
• Recalled or unsafe products, or products without the safety marks and information the law requires.
• Hazardous chemicals, explosives and dangerous goods that cannot legally be sent by standard post.
• Live animals.
• Adult content and sexual products.
• Stolen goods, and items you do not have the right to sell.
• Financial products, gift cards, vouchers and digital codes.
• Anything offensive, discriminatory, or promoting violence or hatred.

Rules for allowed products

• Food must meet UK food law, show all required information (including ingredients and allergens), and be sent so that it arrives in good condition.
• Cosmetics must have a UK Responsible Person and meet UK cosmetics law.
• Toys and electrical items must carry UKCA or CE marking and the required warnings.
• Every product must show the name and UK address of the business responsible for it.

We may remove any listing, hold products for review, or ask for evidence of compliance at any time.
